This is the Vision/Mission statement of
Koinonia Ministries International
Our Ministry Focus
KMI exists to create a place of worship for the international English speaking community who are working or studying and living here in South Korea. It's primary focus is to disciple and equip believers for the sharing of God's love and God's holy Word to the church and to the world. KMI also exists for the purpose of bringing non-believers to the knowledge of the saving grace of Jesus Christ through His birth, life, death and resurrection. We also exist to be a non-denominational ministry that is open and accepting to any and all individuals who will benefit from and contribute to the spiritual community and spiritual growth at KMI through the centrality and shared belief in the life-changing gospel message of Jesus Christ.Our objective is to to use the model set out by the early church, the New Testament Church, portrayed in the Acts of the Apostles. They met together, enjoyed fellowship together, broke bread together, encouraged one another, took care of each others needs - in other words, KOINONIA - and in that Koinonia layed the foundations for the expansion of the Kingdom of God.
Our Worship Focus
To see KMI becoming a house of prayer by all nations for all nations and to create a non-denominational worship community that reflects the “diverse but unified” body of Christ.To adopt varying styles and forms of worship that glorify God and expresses the beauty of worship that is present in different cultures across the globe. To create a place of worship for international worshippers to gather to worship God in Spirit and in Truth.
Our Mission Focus
KMI desires to follow the commission given to the first disciples and to the church in Matthew 28:18-20 by our Lord Jesus Christ to ”make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.”
